Corsair has officially entered the USB microphone market with the launch of the Voxara, a premium condenser microphone designed for streamers, gamers, and content creators. The device is built around a large 25mm condenser capsule, which the company claims provides greater vocal warmth and detail compared to standard-sized alternatives. The microphone is available immediately in black and white colorways for £159.99.
Technical specifications for the Voxara include 32-bit audio recording and a 192 kHz sample rate. This configuration is intended to offer a wide dynamic range, providing sufficient headroom to minimize the risk of clipping during loud moments while maintaining clarity. The hardware utilizes a cardioid pickup pattern, which is designed to prioritize sound sources directly in front of the microphone while rejecting noise from the sides and rear.
A significant component of the Voxara experience is its integration with Elgato's Wave Link 3.0 software. This allows users to route multiple audio sources—such as game audio, music, and chat—into independent channels for mixing and balancing. The software also supports VST and AU plugins, as well as EQ presets.
