Apple announced record financial results for its fiscal 2026 fourth quarter, which ended on September 26, 2026. The company reported total quarterly revenue of $114.5 billion, representing a 12 percent increase compared to the same period in the previous year. Diluted earnings per share reached $2.10, marking a 14 percent growth year over year, a figure that included a $0.05 benefit from tariff refunds.

The growth was largely fueled by strong demand for hardware and services. iPhone revenue saw a 17.5 percent increase, while Mac revenue grew by 23.7 percent. Services revenue also reached an all-time high, contributing a 9.8 percent increase to the company's total earnings. These gains helped offset declines in other segments, as iPad revenue fell by 10.4 percent and wearables revenue decreased by 7.9 percent during the quarter.

Company leadership highlighted the performance as a successful conclusion to the fiscal year, which saw total revenue reach $479 billion. CEO John Ternus noted that the company is entering the holiday season with a new product lineup, including the iPhone Duo, the iPhone 18 Pro, and the iPhone 18 Pro Max. The company also recently introduced new home hardware and integrated touch capabilities into its Mac lineup.

Financial stability remained a focus for the company, which generated $28 billion in operating cash flow during the quarter. This liquidity allowed Apple to return $28 billion to shareholders. The board of directors has declared a cash dividend of $0.27 per share, which is scheduled for payment on November 16, 2026, to shareholders of record as of November 12, 2026.

Apple reported that its installed base of active devices reached a new all-time high across all major product categories and geographic regions. The company's gross margin for the quarter was 47.9 percent, a figure that includes a favorable impact of approximately one percentage point resulting from tariff refunds. The results were presented to financial analysts during a conference call held on November 2, 2026.
