Geekom IT13 Max mini PC delivers capable photo and video editing performance in a compact form factor

The Geekom IT13 Max mini PC, powered by an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H processor, 24GB of DDR5 RAM, and Intel Arc graphics, offers robust performance for creative workflows. In testing, the device achieved a score of 3,296 points in Maxon Cinebench 2026, outperforming the Apple M1 Pro and AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme while maintaining low thermal throttling (peaking at 3% and settling at 1%) and core temperatures under 92°C. The built-in SD card reader achieved read speeds of over 90 MB/s, which surprisingly outperformed an external ProGrade reader connected via USB-C. For creative tasks, the IT13 Max handled raw photo editing in Adobe Lightroom Classic smoothly, exporting 21 raw files to JPEG in 18 seconds. In DaVinci Resolve, the system played back and edited 4K video footage without lag, exporting a one-minute 4K clip in 38 seconds. The mini PC features extensive connectivity, including dual USB4 40Gbps ports, dual 2.5Gb LAN, and support for up to four 4K monitors, alongside Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
