Samsung Electronics has officially commenced the global rollout of its latest mobile hardware, including the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold8, and Galaxy Z Flip8 smartphones. Alongside these foldable devices, the company has launched the Galaxy Watch 9 and the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2. These products are now available through carriers, retail partners, and the official Samsung website in 106 markets worldwide.

The launch follows a period of high consumer interest, particularly in Europe, India, and South Korea. In Europe, pre-orders for the new foldable trio surpassed those of the previous generation by 20% within the first 11 days of availability. The standard Galaxy Z Fold8 accounted for nearly 40% of those regional pre-orders. Meanwhile, in South Korea, the devices set a new record with 1.44 million pre-orders in one week, surpassing the previous benchmark held by the Galaxy Note10 series.

The new Galaxy Watch 9 features the Snapdragon Wear Elite processor and is available in 40mm and 44mm sizes, with both Wi-Fi-only and cellular variants offered. Samsung has updated the design with a more breathable strap and increased battery capacity. The watch runs on One UI Watch 9, which is based on Wear OS 7.

For users seeking more rugged hardware, the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 comes in a single 45mm size with standard cellular connectivity. It features a titanium case, an 800mAh battery, and the same Snapdragon Wear Elite processor found in the standard model. The device is built for durability, carrying an IP69K rating for dust and water resistance, as well as an EN13319 certification for diving.

Pricing for the Galaxy Watch 9 starts at $379.99 for the 40mm Wi-Fi model in the United States, while the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 is priced at $699.99. The foldable smartphone lineup features a range of configurations, with the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra serving as the premium offering in the series.
