NVIDIA has announced the addition of 26 new titles to its GeForce NOW cloud gaming library for the month of August. The update includes a variety of releases across platforms like Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store, with eight games becoming available immediately. Among the initial arrivals are Big Walk, Beacon Pines, and World of Warships: Legends, which allows players to engage in naval combat without the need for local installations.

The company is also utilizing the QuakeCon gaming conference in Grapevine, Texas, to showcase the capabilities of its cloud infrastructure. Attendees at the NVIDIA booth can experience demonstrations powered by GeForce RTX 5080 hardware. These sessions highlight the service's ability to stream games at resolutions up to 5K at 120 frames per second on ultrawide displays, alongside compatibility demonstrations on the Lenovo Legion Go S handheld device.

The August rollout continues throughout the month with scheduled additions including The Sinking City 2, Mortal Shell II, and Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2. Several titles, such as Sandustry and Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, will be available to members who hold a PC Game Pass subscription. NVIDIA noted that the library expansion aims to support seamless transitions between devices, including laptops, Macs, TVs, and mobile hardware.

While the service provides access to a wide range of titles, it operates differently than traditional subscription-based gaming platforms. GeForce NOW members must own a copy of the game or possess a valid license through a supported storefront to stream it via NVIDIA's servers. Additionally, the service maintains specific usage limits regarding the number of hours subscribers can access the cloud platform each month.

For those not attending QuakeCon, NVIDIA is offering a day pass option that allows users to test the Ultimate cloud gaming tier. This provides an opportunity to experience the platform's performance with Bethesda titles and other supported games on various devices. The company plans to continue its weekly update cadence, known as GFN Thursday, to announce further library additions and service improvements throughout the remainder of the month.
